USS Laffey

Laffey is a Benson-class Destroyer and one of the possible starter ships of all versions of Azur Lane. She features well-rounded stats, and she is able to be retrofit to further increase her stats. Her real-life counterpart is the USS Laffey, hull designation DD-459.

USS Enterprise

Enterprise is a Yorktown-class Aircraft Carrier and one of the most popular ships in Azur Lane. Her unique skill, "Lucky E", allows her to evade all damage and deal double-damage during its activation. Her real-life counterpart is the USS Enterprise, hull designation CV-6.

USS Eldridge

Eldridge is a Cannon-class Destroyer Escort and is a possible reward from the PVP, or Plaver-vs-player aspect of the game. Her unique skill, "Operation Rainbow", allows her and any other ships in the main fleet to evade all incoming damage for its duration. Her real-life counterpart is the USS Eldridge, hull designation DE-173.

USS San Diego

San Diego is an Atlanta-class Light Cruiser and is available from Light Construction as well as Medal Exchange. She has a massive Anti-air stat and is very useful in later Story maps. She is able to be retrofit to further enhance her stats, and has a unique ability, "I Am No. 1", that increases her and her allies' Anti-air stat for a time. Her real-life counterpart is the USS San Diego, hull designation CL-53.

USS Indianapolis

Indianapolis is a Portland-class Heavy Cruiser and can be awarded from Map drops as well as Heavy construction. She has a special ability, "Pandora's Box", that spawns two rotating shields that can block shots. Her real-life counterpart is the USS Indianapolis, hull designation CA-35.
