Major Nations
Eagle Union
The Eagle Union is the Azur Lane faction for the United States Navy. They are in alliance with the Royal Navy forming the Azur Lane. Ships of the Eagle Union tend to have high firepower with skills further boosting it. Eagle Union Cruisers tend to favor secondary guns over torpedoes, and their Aircraft Carriers tend to have high offensive air power. The Eagle Union doesn't have a sense of one faction focus, so their ships are useful in all lineups.
Royal Navy
The Royal Navy is the Azur Lane faction for the British Navy. They are in alliance with the Eagle Union forming the Azur Lane. Ships of the Royal Navy tend to have high evasion with skills further boosting it. Royal Navy Cruisers favor torpedoes over guns, and their Aircraft Carriers are very strong on all fronts. The Royal Navy has a strong sense of one faction focus, so their ships work really well together. They are the only faction to use Monitors.
Sakura Empire
The Sakura Empire is the Azur Lane faction for the Imperial Japanese Navy. They are in alliance with the Ironblood forming the Crimson Axis. Ships of the Sakura Empire tend to favor torpedoes, even more so than the Royal Navy. Aircraft Carriers of the Sakura Empire tend to work best in pairs, and they are the only faction with Aviation Battleships, which trade auxiliary guns for aircraft.
Ironblood
The Ironblood is the Azur Lane faction for the Kriegsmarine. They are in alliance with the Sakura Empire forming the Crimson Axis. Ships of the Ironblood tend to have high firepower with a focus on armor-piercing damage. Ironblood torpedoes are able to lock-on to enemies, and some of their ships have the highest defense and hitpoints in the game. They do not have a sense of one faction focus, but that is only because they have the lowest amount of ships of any of the Major factions.
